Avoid long waits and high costs to get treatment for many health problems. During their virtual visit, your employees will see a licensed provider who also can send a prescription to their pharmacy if needed.

It’s easy to get started with Blue CareOnDemand. First, your employees should log in to their My Health Toolkit® account. Once they have logged in, select Providers & Services, then Blue CareOnDemand.

From the My Health Toolkit mobile app, select Find Care, then Video Visit. Then follow the instructions to register.

They can register today so they're ready when they need it.

Four Categories for Care

  • Virtual primary care for routine checkups, wellness screenings and health monitoring
  • Urgent care for things like allergies, cold and flu, COVID-19, sore throat and urinary tract infections
  • Behavioral health to connect one-on-one with a therapist on issues like anxiety and depression
  • Dermatology for consultation on lower-risk conditions affecting skin, hair and nails, such as acne, rosacea and eczema

When should your employees use Blue CareOnDemand?

  • They need to see a doctor but can’t fit it into their schedule.
  • Their doctor’s office is closed.
  • They feel too sick to drive.
  • They have children at home and don’t want to bring them.
  • They're traveling on business and stuck in a hotel room.

Please note, your employees can’t register for Blue CareOnDemand Powered by MDLIVE through the MDLIVE app. If it’s their first time accessing Blue CareOnDemand, please see the previously mentioned instructions to register through My Health Toolkit.

Blue CareOnDemand is not included in all BlueChoice health plans. Your employees can check their eligibility through
My Health Toolkit. When they log in, select Providers & Services. If the service is included with their plan, they’ll see Blue CareOnDemand listed.
